When you step up on the BodyWise Smart Scale, a very low, safe bio-electrical signal is sent from the four precision sensors through your feet. This signal passes safely through the body until it hits the resistance from a fat tissue - this resistance is what is measured using Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis - and then converted using equations - to calculate body composition measurements.
